CR Power
was established on 27 August 2001 and was listed
on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on 12 November
2003. It is one of the stocks of Hang Seng Composite
Industry Indices and Hang Seng China-Affiliated
Corp. Index.
CR Power engages in development, integration, and
operations of over 300 MW large capacity generators
located in the more developed regions of the Chinese
Mainland. The joint-stock or share-holding power
plants include: China Resources Xuzhou Electrical
Power Co., Ltd., Hebei Harv Power Generation Co.,
Ltd., Zhejiang Wenzhou Telluride Power Generating
Co., Ltd., Guangdong Guanghope Power Co., Ltd.,
Hunan China Resources Power Liyujiang Co., Ltd.,
China Resources Power Deng Feng Co., Ltd., China
Resources Power Hubei Co., Ltd., Hengshui Hengxing
Power Generation Co., Ltd., China Resources Power
(Changshu) Co., Ltd., China Resources (Henan) Shouyangshan
Co., Ltd. and Huaneng International Power Development
Corporation.
In 2004, CR Power¡¯s profits attributable to shareholders
came to HK$1.308 billion. At the end of March 31,
2005, CR Power had generated a total capacity of
8,668 MW in current operation and under construction
(not including their interests in HIPD). Moreover
installation capacity in current operation was
3,822 MW, helping CR Power join the ranks as one
of the most rapidly developed enterprises among
all of Hong Kong¡¯s listed power companies.
