owned by CR Enterprise, CR Light Industries & Textiles is
one of the Chinese Mainland's leading textile manufacturers and
distributors. It wholly owns or owns a controlling stake in 16
Mainland companies,
forming a comprehensive import, export and sales network with
customers worldwide.
In 2003, CR Light Industries & Textiles acquired a 51% stake
in a Shenzhen-listed company, which is later renamed China Resources
Jinhua Co., Ltd (CR Jinhua). CR Jinhua provides CR Light Industries & Textiles
with a platform for further development through China's capital
market. CR Light Industries & Textiles currently owns one
million spindles, 14,600 looms and 13 printing and dyeing lines.
Its annual production reaches 100,000 metric tonnes of yarn,
10 million pieces of clothing, 260 million metres of grey fabric
and 130 million metres of finished fabric.

Enterprises
Since 1998, CR Light Industries & Textiles has acquired several
state-owned textile companies that were on the verge of shutting
down. After the acquisition, CR Light Industries & Textiles
enhanced their operational and management performance by instituting
China Resources' management model and corporate culture. This
fundamental changes have led these companies to profitability
and sound governance. The Chinese government has praised the
transformation and the management model they now employ.
